Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)

Risk assessments enable you to choose how to spend money and time on the right things. Starting with an effective risk assessment helps reduce incidents, keeping you as safe as possible from the unexpected expense and reputational damage a data protection or IG breach can create.

In our experience the most logical and effective way to assess IG and data protection risks is either through a Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) or a Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA).

We start by mapping the data flows and then take it from there, requesting responses from internal colleagues in order to complete the assessment in a meticulous, logical and effective way.

Giving you further peace of mind that we understand the Information Governance and Data Protection risk assessment process, our Director is currently researching a PhD relating to Privacy Impact Assessments.
